Grants round update - August 2025

The Sargood Bequest has recently undertaken a review of our funding strategy, and we’re excited to share some updates to the application process that make it clearer, simpler and more aligned with our values.

What’s Changed 

• New annual application window: 1st September – 30th November  

• Updated funding criteria and priorities to better reflect our values and clarify what we’re looking for  

• Updated application form with clearer guidance on what to include, to make it easier to share your story and impact  

• Removed funding categories from the application form, so you can describe how your work supports people, place and culture without having to fit into a single box  

• More support during the application process, including updated guidelines and opportunities to chat about your application  

We will have a drop-in session 6-7 pm on Tuesday 9th September for you to ask Jess, our Bequest Coordinator, any questions you may have about your application. If you’d like the details and Zoom link, or are interested in attending future drop-in sessions, please fill out this form.
